Review of Thinner (1996) by Jim D — 18 Jul 2007
This is a cool old-school horror movie with impressive make-up effects and a scary undertone. I enjoyed it and the thought of it happening to me really scared me. The biggest problem was that the end sort of fizzled out rather than explode. Still it rose interesting moral questions and asked what you would do in that situation. This is a well made horror that does look good and scares efficiently.
In one word: Creepy.
