Review of Thinner (1996) by John O — 13 Nov 2007
Thinner has a handful of spooky moments. An interesting original idea (of course coming from the always creative Stephen King) I found to be somewhat enjoyable, but also a little cheesy. Robert John Burke's performance is quite strange and I just wasn't convinced by the makeup effects.
Probably my favorite part of the whole movie, was Joe Mantegna. He was loads of fun as Billy's mobster friend. So nothing really special but still a fun watch.
