I watched this just because David Duchovny was in it, and I enjoyed it lot more than I expected to. The only real problem I had with it was the ending. The closing scene wasn't satisfactory to me. It made it seem like Del Toro's character's addiction was the main focus of the film when it was really only part of the plot.
The ending was sloppy I thought, almost as if some of the scenes leading up to it were cut out... which I think is what happened.
