Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Raeha B — 14 Sep 2008
Seeing all of the previews for this I never could get a good feeling if I'd like it or not. I tried it out and I'm glad I did. I loved the way it cut between memory and present time. Berry does a fantastic job of gripping the audience into the wife's grief over the loss of her husband, and Del Toro's depiction of a drug addict was moving as well.
This movie just seemed real, no hype just the facts. I liked that.
