Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Andrew K — 02 Oct 2008
A moving story of loss and redemption ... if only Halle Berry could've dialed it down a bit. The director focuses on lighting, music, and close-ups to establish a mood that keeps the film interesting, but more could have been said about Duchovny's character, so that we are not left with the impression that he was the perfect man.
