Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Philippe C — 28 Oct 2008
I think I may have been expecting way too much. Halle Berry and Bencio Del Toro are great, but nothin really active in the script to rope the audence in much other than depression, which isn't a good way to excite a person lol.
The daughter is one of the better characters and expanded well through her emotions and actions, but no one else really does a good job pulling this movie upwards. Nor a bad film, just dont go in w/ high expectations.
