Review of Things to Come (1936) by Johannes R — 02 Apr 2011
3.4.2011.
An inventive scifi film told as history. The film chronicles about a century in mankind's developement, lacking a single protagonist, but focusing in for some small stories. The look of the film, especially in the future with the technical innovations, has some sleek style. Visually, it sometimes looks like avant-garde. Delightfully, the film has a positive look on technical progress and shows how it can benefit mankind.
