Yes as others have said it is a trope that has been well used in many horror movies. The execution is amazing and a very well brewed story full of wit and deeper meaning. Great cast of actors and amazing imagery.
This is not a horror movie, it is definitely a thriller. Not the greatest movie ever but anyone giving it less than a 5 just didn’t get what they expected to from this film.
