Review of Things Heard & Seen (2021) by Lunaticink — 01 May 2021

This is perhaps one of the dumbest things I’ve ever watched, even for Netflix. And that’s saying something given I sat through the entire seven seasons of The 100 on CW. My wife and I were audibly guffawing by the end.

The supernatural elements are not scary and the CGI is absolutely terrible. Did they have high schoolers animate this on the cheap? The true victims are the actors who had to suffer through this terrible script.

If you are expecting any sort of supernatural thriller don’t watch this. The entire plot can be summed up with “toxic masculinity bad”. That’s it. There’s no further depth. We never find out why the husband is the way he is.

He’s just some caricature of random evil dude. And what is with the ghost at the end talking about “our power grows”? Are they leveling up? Clearly they weren’t powerful enough to stop the last three murders, so what’s the point? This film is utter nonsense from start to finish.
