Review of Thief (1981) by Jarett B — 10 Jun 2011
It's a no brainer that a Mann movie about stealing shit stylishly is going to at least give you a baseline of solid movies-for-guys-that-like-movies entertainment. The surprise here is a quiet, controlled Caan putting aside his usual supporting actor bombast and making even James Belushi tolerable.
