Review of Thief (1981) by Joel A — 30 Jul 2014
The breakout film from Thinking Man Action Director Michael Mann...simply the story a ex jewellery thief trying to go straight with a new woman.
The strong sense of style & beautiful urban photography that Mann added to the production. This is modern day noir with the perfect Anti-Hero.
The tension of the film mounts & mounts to an unbelievable climax. For an early film it's extraordinary & James Caan delivered a show stopping performance.
