Review of They Live (1988) by Andy S — 14 Dec 2017
They Live is a celling card for America, for the world. It's an essential movie that should be shown in schools all across the world. This is one of those cult movies you hear almost never about but should definitely be known of it's existence.
The great thing about this movie is that it doesn't cut corners, nor does it keep it subtle. It's right there out in the open for all to see which might be the reason why it doesn't get so much attention. See, even a dumb person could watch it and understand its meaning and the message being put smack dab right in their stupid fucking faces. Waaaaake uuuup!
This movie also has one of the most realistic and played out fight scenes between any two actors.
Overall, awesome film with great messages and subject matter.
