Review of Thesis (1996) by Alex M — 27 Dec 2008
Having seen Amenabar's first Hollywood directorial effort, The Others (starring Nicole Kidman who gave a sterling performance), I was hoping that Tesis would also follow on in the same vein, which is a thriller but with some kind of a message. I'd call it, "intelligent thriller".
And Tesis did not disappoint. The film asks some questions - and the last scene kind of answers that.
The whodunit element is also rather good.
