An absolute masterpiece putting on full display the greed, lust, anger, envy, and madness of a character pursuing the American dream. Daniel Plainview is masterfully portrayed by the master himself: Daniel Day-Lewis.
The cinematography is gives the film another level of beauty and the music just sucks you into every scene with its style and intensity.
