A true masterpiece. It's a character study of someone truly despicable in every way. The symbolism is hard to find, but it's all over the film. Daniel Day-Lewis plays the part perfectly and makes the movie.
He makes Plainview someone you love to hate, especially in the last half of the movie. As my first PTW film, I hope to see more.
