Review of There Be Dragons (2011) by Adriano B — 26 Oct 2011
Fact is, the movie works better when Escrivà is out of the screen: his unrelenting holyness conveys the message, but hinders him as a character. His lost and redeemed friend Manolo, insted, putting aside an unfortunate introduction-epilogue with father-son issues and melodrama, is a much more interesting show of the interbreeding of politics, messianism and alliance shifting tendencies.
