Helen Hunt does a good job and she is just not one of my favorites for some reason....The Jewish humour went over heads with the Kiwi audience - I was the only one that ever laughed at quite a bit of it.
...Bette Midler always a treat although she often seems to be starring as herself. Colin Firth just plain cute even when rumpled and swearing. The movie was realistic and affecting.
