Review of Then She Found Me (2007) by Derrick F — 02 Oct 2008
I loved this film. I hated this film. It was complicated in a way that leaves you wondering how characters could be so stupid, and then realizing that people really are so stupid. It is not for a young audience-- you must have experience struggling with the deeper hurts of life to fully appreciate the depth of emotions without believing that the foolish decisions and selfishness portrayed in this film are worthy ways to experience such emotion.
I almost turned this off several times I was so frustrated with the humanity of the characters, but somehow the end resolved things satisfactorily, in spite of the postmodern family messages.
