Review of Then She Found Me (2007) by Stewart F — 16 Oct 2009
Underwhelming movie. Some good actors here, plus Matthew Broderick (who, as always, runs the gamut of emotions from A to B) and (bizarrely) Salman Rushdie as the doctor, but the dialogue was terrible and totally unconvincing.
There was no chemistry between Helen Hunt and the 2 men she was supposed to love - and why Colin Firth's character would fall so quickly in love with such a whiny woman like her is beyond me. This movie gets an extra star just because of Bette Midler - she is by far the best thing in it.
