Review of Thelma (2017) by Karla M — 27 Mar 2018
Between psychological drama and fantasy, I think it speaks metaphorically of the repression of who you really are and what you want and how not knowing how to handle those feelings can be destructive.
The cinematic language of this film is incredible, as a plane can explain so well the sensation of what happens, the moments of anguish, even with the sterility of the environment and the cold landscapes ... personally between the camera work and the of the actors created an overwhelming atmosphere almost claustrophobic that contrasts with a colorful and calm end.
