Beautifully filmed story based on a true life Polish family (the Zabi?skis) that ran the Warsaw Zoo when WWII reaches their country and the Nazis start rounding up the Jews..., first in the Jewish ghetto and eventually to the concentration camps.
They are kinda like Poland's version of Schindler's List in that they strive to save as many people as they can..., it's unfortunate that makers of this film couldn't deliver the same caliber as Spielberg did.
