Review of The Zookeeper's Wife (2017) by Pam E — 30 Mar 2017

I'm a tough critic, and I need to be immersed in the movie to give it a good review. I'm distracted when details like makeup, costumes, scenery, and especially editing, fall short. Not only is this movie flawed in those ways (was Jessica Chasten wearing a poorly fitted wig the whole time?) but the German zoologist either needs acting lessons or the director was to blame for bad directing of the character.

Also, JC's accent and language is inconsistent and distracting. The use of an accent to increase authenticity can work, but not if the use of accent also includes the contradictory use of poor English skills.

I could go on with more faults, but I'll leave that to the professional critics.
