Review of The Young Victoria (2009) by Irene T — 02 May 2010

I'm a sucker for history, monarchies and love stories so this movie was a winner for me. It wasn't as dramatic or action-packed as Elizabeth but it was beautifully filmed and acted. I would love to see additional films made about Victoria's remaining reigning years as this film covered only up to her first pregnancy.

And I'm happy to report that this movie had no inappropriate scenes or language that would preclude younger viewers from enjoying it (if they were able to keep up with the complications of European politics & royal genealogies).
