I normally love these types of films but this movie wasn't my cup of tea. I twas a little too slow for my tastes but it certainly captures all the trappings & back stabbing that goes on 'behind the scenes' of English monarchy.
Emily Blunt does a good job as does Miranda Richardson (who seems to have a knack for playing slightly creepy, aristocratic matriarchs). It's visually beautiful but it failed to impress me.
