Imaginative and engaging film that isn't quite as good as Amelie. It takes a fresh look at America and makes interesting use of 3D, proving that it can add to something other than the usual superhero/sci-fi yarn.
Bold and I think successful move to cast Helena Bonham Carter against type. Recommended.
