A crowd pleaser by the director of Amelie. The film is big Hollywood with independent cinema sensibilities.

Overall I would say I enjoyed this film, it had a lot of heart to it, you could tell it was a labour of love. Generally the pace was a little slow, but the running time was just right.

The performances from all the main cast were spot on. It had laughs, sorrow and regrets and lot's of heart. Like I said at the start a crowd pleaser. If you want slick action go see Edge of Tomorrow, if you want a slow burner then watch this film, it doesn't quite reach it's full potential, but it's one enjoyable journey.
