Review of The Yes Men Fix the World (2009) by Caleb C — 02 Mar 2009
THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD was the funniest movie at Sundance even though it is a documentary. Those who thought the Yes Men (2003) pushed the boundary of how much fun they could poke at the world's most powerful corporations without being snuffed will not be surprised now to see our favorite corporate impersonators almost meet their fate at the CSR Gala when they donned "Survivaball" suits, tried to climb the steps and were promptly removed and beaten up by the event staff.
Luckily, the quick work of paparazzi saves the day, but the Yes Men weren't slowed down one bit as they fool the BBC and 300 million viewers into believing that Dow Chemical is finally taking responsibility for the Bhopal disaster.
