Review of The Yes Men (2003) by Joseph M — 04 Jan 2005
Saw the movie alone on New Years Eve before heading out to Henry's with Good Friend, Stephen, and Eric.
The movie is quite interesting, at times entertaining but overall doesn't engage the audience to think about their stance on the WTO. The creators seem to believe that the audience will already disdain the WTO and know the talking points so that the movie can focus on the antics instead of engaging in honest debate. As a consequence, the movie seems like a Saturday Night Live sketch. It is quite fascinating what people will put up with while watching the creators pull off their presentations. As Holden says, "People never notice anything.".
