Review of The Yes Men (2003) by Manny C — 23 Mar 2011
Docs don't much more wickedly funny than The Yes Men, from filmmaker Chris Smith, Sarah Price and Dan Ollman. They set their cameras on Mike Bonanno and Andy Bichlbaum, two pranksters who created a web site in 1999 in order to mock the World Trade Organization, but ended up being mistaken for actual, legitimate spokesmen.
They were even invited to speak in Finland, where they pushed for the return of slavery. As they go on the road, they are greeted with applause. The fact that few cringe at their out there ideas, including ending world hunger by feeding the poor recycled human feces, sting like hell.
