My favorite "Mel" movie. Set in 1965 in Sukarno ruled Indonesia. Director Peter Weir paints such a rich, realistic picture of this turbulent time you can almost feel the heat coming off the pavement.
Linda Hunt's Oscar winning performance as Billy Kwan is riveting. If you like intrigue, love, lust, adventure and great acting be sure to see this film.
