Review of The Yards (2000) by Emil K — 10 Feb 2009
This one will leave you breathless. One of the greatest crime-film 00's with stellar cast. It is dark and very sad story of young man trying to do the right thing but it all turns into a devastating tragedy.
Music by Howard Shore is top notch and cinematography by Harris Savides uses shadows and light with great effect. This is fantastic film that deserves more audience than it has got in years. A Must!
