Review of The Wrong Trousers (1993) by Susan N — 30 Jun 2007
After 'A Grand Day Out' a sequal for the lovable duo was inevitable, and 'THe Wrong Trousers' prooved to be grander and even more entertaining then the first!
Wallace (voice by Peter allis) has created a pair of techno-trousers that can walk by themselves so he no longe rneeds to take his dog Gromit for walks. However, after taking in a lodger - the mysterious Penguin - things take a turn for the worse!
Feather McGraw - a local chicken and master criminal - uses the techno-trousers, and Wallace, to steal an expensive diamond. Now only Gromit can save his friend and the day!
'The Wrong Trousers' took stop-motion animation to the next level. The animation was spotless, the sets were perfect and the story was brilliant!
Once again the combining of the simple and friendly Wallace with the serious yet clever Gromit wored a treat! And the penguin is seriously creepy - one of the greatest villains to appear on screen!
A clever story, lots of laughs, brilliant action scenes and superb animation makes 'The Wrong Trousers' a perfect family film for all to enjoy!
