The Wrestler proves that simple can be beautiful. Mickey Rourke's heart-wrenching performance reaches out to audiences and pulls them into the most sympathetic situations. If Randy "the Ram" Robinson isn't pitiful, then our audiences need some emotional work.
Darren Aronofsky at his best.
