Review of The Wrestler (2008) by Dave M — 10 Feb 2013
A moving, bleak and unflinching look at the faded career of a once popular wrestler. Aronofsky's direction is consistent and never over sentimentalizes the drama. It feels real throughout, and alot of that credit goes to Rourke as well for a memorable performance.
