Review of The Wrestler (2008) by Conrad T — 01 Apr 2015
I love this film, but I can't watch it ever again. I'm a wrestling fan, and so many wrestlers resemble Randy "The Ram" Robinson. It's like pulling back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz and revealing he's just a little man with a loud voice trying to look bigger than he actually is.
Highly recommended. If you don't come away from this movie with a respect for the sport, I fear for your heart.
