Review of The Wrestler (2008) by Tristan M — 17 Jan 2015
Great performance by Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei as supporting actress. This movie turned out to be better than I expected. The last time I've ever saw any wrestling was like 20 years ago when I was little so I decided to check out this movie for the nostalgia, kill some time and was impressed.
This movie was more than just about wrestling. It deals with some of life's significant topics and issues that was very touching. Good drama movie worth checking out and you don't even have to be a fan of wrestling to enjoy it.
