Review of The World's End (2013) by Shiela E — 27 Mar 2014
As far as I'm concerned, Simon Pegg can do no wrong. I have loved everything he's ever made, and this didn't disappoint. It was kind of like a cross between simon's classic first film, shaun of the dead, and quentin tarantino's from dusk til dawn.
we have a movie that starts off in one direction and then veers off into an unexpected, entirely different GENRE! and then we have pegg and company back in familiar territory, fighting off a sci-fi/supernatural threat.
better stop before I give too much away. just watch and enjoy. not quite as laugh out loud funny as shaun or hot fuzz, but great nonetheless.
