Review of The World's End (2013) by Dario R — 25 Mar 2014
I'm a huge fan of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright; I have been since Spaced, Shaun Of The Dead, and Hot Fuzz. But this latest film from the trio doesn't live up to their past works. It's not a terrible film, it had some funny moments, but it was missing something that made the other films/TV series great.
Perhaps it was Nick Frost playing the straight guy in the film? It's funnier when Nick Frost is the buffoon. Again not a bad film, but check out their other works before seeing this film.
