Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Michael F — 26 Nov 2009
As we learned in On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), the motto "The World Is Not Enough" is found on Bond's family crest. The story here is a good one, with Brosnan looking very comfortable in the role.
Sophie Marceau delivers an excellent performance and is given a unique character to play. Unfortunately, Richards is totally miscast and her performance is atrocious. It doesn't help that her part is so unnecessary that if it were removed, the story would be unaffected.
