Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Peter R — 16 Sep 2009
This movie is good and fun to watch, but it has some problems that keep it from being a better movie than it already is:
- it doesn't have enough action scenes involving James Bond kicking a lot of ass.
- there's a stupid twist in the film where Electra truns evil, but it doesn't bother me too much, like the stupid twist towards the end of the 2nd Season of "Black Lagoon" did.
- the ending fight scene where James and Renard are fighting, doesn't look realistic or as exciting as the other fight scenes in this movie. James and Renard (the villain of this movie) look like they make light, fake blows at one another. The attacks that they make on one another look too fake.
-------------------------------------------------------------.
Overall, I like and own this movie; it's good but not as good as "Goldeneye." 8/10.
