This is an incredibly mature and rational film. The way that the issue of peadophilia is dealt with is unbelievably sensitive. Kevin Bacon gives one of the most nuanced and subtle performances of the last decade, while incredibly well supported by the rest of the cast.
This is the definition of American Indie Cinema.
