Not the easiest subject matter to watch, and not the easiest to commit to film without falling in to the trap of (or even intentionally) portraying its characters in black and white terms. Kevin Bacon's performance is amazing.
I was shocked by some of the reviews I had read for this film; several people gave it one star for no other reason than they could not believe that Kevin Bacon would even think of making a movie that dealt with such a taboo subject.
Have they never seen 'Sleepers'?
