Review of The Woodsman (2004) by Michele T — 09 Jul 2008
A taboo subject and a daring film. Portraying a convicted paedophile in a sympathetic light. However the film doesn't forgive his crimes but allows the viewer to watch his torment. The realisation as to what he has done and an insight into the effect he has had on his victims is the stand out scene.
Horrible to watch for all the right reasons. However much like the rest of the film, nothing much really happens. Bacon is awesome :).
