Review of The Wooden Camera (2003) by Grant S — 11 Jun 2010
Had great potential, but was very disappointing in the end.
The basic premise and vibe of the movie was great, and the movie oozed charm throughout. Cinematography was excellent.
However, the plot fell apart pretty quickly, and turned into a random, contrived, far-fetched, inconsistent, badly-paced mess. The acting was also pretty amateurish.
I really wanted to like this movie, due to its heart being in the right place, but the plot, especially, and acting let it down.
