Review of The Woman in the Window (1944) by Chris H — 06 Aug 2008
Legendary director Fritz Lang does marvelous work with this unusual film-noir. The cinematography is perfect and undistracting, the acting is superb, and the pacing is thrilling without being overwhelming.
But the best part is the story which keeps you interested and always wanting to know what happens next. Check the details on imdb but don't read the spoilers. The twist endings are pure genius. I've seen a number of Lang films and while you wouldn't compare this to his older classics like Metropolis or M, this is film-noir at it's finest and a must-see for any fans of the genre.
