Review of The Woman in the Window (1944) by Matt H — 15 Mar 2014
Good noir story, but basically a retelling of Scarlett Street, and not as good. In Scarlett Street, Robinson's character is a little more pathetic and interesting, and Joan Bennett has much more interesting motivations and interests.
Still solid, except for the ending which feels tacked on and negates everything before it.
