Review of The Woman in Red (1984) by Lucas M — 08 Jan 2012
80's comedy and Gene Wilder always went down well in my childhood and this movie always stuck as a firm favourite on VHS, TV and DVD. A married guy's infatuation over a younger model who is on the advert posters he's working on in a relaunch of the cable car.
Despite being married and kids in toe, Teddy's adventure begins over this piece of ass. He gets thrown a little by the downfall of his friend's relationship twists and turns but starts to devise new ways of meeting 'Charlotte'.
A lot of amusing moments while he secretly tip-toes around his family to get his waiting goal, Kelly LeBrock in a water bed! Although Richard Pryor doesn't feature along side his comedy companion in this one, Gene holds his own and still delivers good comedy.
Some great scenes and comical outcomes.
