Review of The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death (2014) by Bill R — 16 Aug 2015
Handsomely made, oozes atmosphere, and the WW2 period setting is certainly welcome and adds to the dramatic elements. The performances from all involved are uniformly well done. This sequel however lacks the punch of the prior film.
There's too much jolt scares, yet not enough woman in black. Overall it is still good enough for a mild recommendation.
