Review of The Woman (2011) by Arthur E — 27 May 2012
Lucky McKee's feminist, satirical 'wild woman' myth borders on the banal as a commentary on the domesticity of women and the tyranny of men. However the movie's mythos and portrayals of domestic violence make it compelling enough to discuss.
Not for the faint of heart...and will most likely appeal to the very audience it condemns. I wouldn't recommend this film to most of my friends but I would consider it as a better than average film.
