Review of The Wolfpack (2015) by Peter F — 19 Jul 2015
One of the most fascinating and compelling documentaries of the year. The conceit is worthwhile enough - seven children forced to stay inside their tiny Manhattan apartment and not allowed to leave. But instead of focusing on the horrors of this unbelievable experience, the film documents the joy and perseverance this family endures and uses the inherent claustrophobia to pose interesting questions of power and the subtle family dynamics attached to this eccentric family.
